To ensure everything runs smoothly, here’s what to expect on your first visit and a few important reminders before you arrive:

Please Arrive 10 Minutes Early

To make the most of your appointment, we kindly ask that you arrive 10 minutes early. This gives you time to park, walk over and complete our New Patient Form to ensure we have all the necessary information to provide the best care possible.

Parking

The best place to park is at Westpoint Shopping Centre near Coles. From there:

  • Exit the shopping centre on Level 2 near Daiso
  • Cross the road to reach our clinic, situated next to Blacktown Police Station on the corner of Kildare Rd, Blacktown

Your Appointment: What to Expect

If you book:

1. Comprehensive Consultation – $90 (Excluding X-Rays)

Your visit will be with a one-on-one consultation with our dentist. We'll perform a full examination of your teeth, gums, and mouth to assess your overall oral health.

This is your opportunity to:

  • Discuss any concerns, discomfort, or goals you may have
  • Ask questions about your oral health
  • Explore potential treatment options tailored to your needs
  • Receive estimated quotes for necessary dental treatment

We believe in clear, open communication — you’ll never be rushed or pressured.

If you book:

2. Check-Up & Clean – $190 (Excluding X-Rays)

Your visit will include:

  • A thorough scale and clean to remove plaque and tartar
  • Polishing to smooth and brighten your teeth
  • A fluoride treatment to strengthen enamel and help prevent decay
  • Personalised oral hygiene advice to maintain your results at home

This comprehensive clean is designed to leave your mouth feeling fresh, healthy, and cared for.

After Your Visit

Once your appointment is complete, our team will:

  • Review any findings from your exam
  • Provide a clear, itemised treatment plan if needed
  • Schedule your next appointment or any necessary follow-up care

Seen Another Dentist Before?

No problem! We can help you request a transfer of your previous dental records ahead of time. Just let us know — this helps us better understand your dental history and tailor your care accordingly.

Private Health Fund Claims

Please bring your physical health fund card or have it available in your digital wallet. We process claims by tapping the card through our system (like an EFTPOS terminal). Please note:

  • Photos of the card or just your member number aren’t sufficient
  • You’ll need either the physical card or the digital version (e.g. through your insurer's app)

Westmead Voucher Patients

Welcome! Thank you for choosing our practice to undergo your dental treatment. Please ensure that you bring your voucher with you and when booking, you let us know what type of Voucher it is (E.g. General Care, Urgent Care or Denture Care) so that we may adequately prepare for your appointment.

Need to Reschedule?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice so we can offer the time to another patient. Please note that a cancellation within 24 hours’ notice of your appointment may incur a cancellation fee, or require a deposit before you book with us again.
