We have provided biographies below to help you become acquainted with our team. We appreciate each of our existing patients and welcome new patients to our upgraded location.

Dr Victor Hanna, DMD, B. Pharm
Dentist (Owner)
Dr Victor Hanna earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy with First Class Honours before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Sydney. This training informs his holistic understanding of medicine, which allows him to treat patients with complex medical conditions.
Starting his career in the public system at Newcastle Oral Health clinics and Westmead Hospital, Dr Victor worked in general, paediatric and special care dentistry as well as in emergency care. While honing his skills in several Sydney private practices, he continued to serve through volunteering trips to Cambodia and Vanuatu, which have broadened his dental horizons.
With a passion for educating patients about their oral care, Dr Victor believes in empowering people to influence their overall well-being through excellent dental health. In addition, his goal is to give his patients the confidence to keep smiling.
Dr Victor enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially restorative and cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy, and surgical procedures. He also has a particular interest in orthodontics and fixed prosthodontics. Victor regularly attends dental conferences and keeps himself updated with the latest techniques and technology. He also has undertaken continuing education in oral surgery and dental implants. This makes him proficient in wisdom teeth removal and dental implant placement, both vital for dental health.
Well-known for his gentle and calming approach, Dr Victor reassures anxious patients and children under his care. He always aims to ensure patient comfort and thoroughly explains all treatment options. Dr Victor’s skills with dental extractions and his calm chairside manner are designed to make his patients feel at ease when he treats them.
When not in the dentist’s chair, Dr Victor loves spending time with his friends and family, especially his two daughters, who keep his life exciting and wonderful. He also loves watching and playing soccer.
Dr Nova Hossain
Associate Dentist
Dr Nova Hossain first started her dental journey while working at a private practice in Burwood as an Oral Health Therapist in 2016. It was here that she discovered her love for teeth and
was inspired to pursue a career in dentistry. Dr Nova graduated from the University of Sydney in 2021 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine and received multiple academic merit scholarships including the BOH (University of Sydney Merit Scholarship) and the DMD (H J V Cusack Memorial Prize) along the way.
Since graduating, Dr Nova has continued to work in private practice as a friendly and compassionate associate dentist. She brings an easy-going, cheerful nature to the practice, and you’ll always find her with a happy smile on her face. Dr Nova loves creating relationships with her patients and prides herself on providing a unique and positive experience to all patients while under her care, especially children! Her bubbly personality has even been known to put patients with dental anxiety at ease while in the dental chair.
Though Dr Nova enjoys all aspects of dentistry, she is particularly fascinated with oral surgery and restorative dentistry, as getting her patients out of pain and supporting their dental needs brings her great joy.
Outside of the practice, Dr Nova loves going on scenic walks/hikes and is a massive foodie! She loves getting amongst the restaurant scene in Sydney and can always give you a good recommendation, no matter which suburb you live in!
Dr Philip Hanna, DMD
Dentist
Dr Philip graduated from the University of Sydney and has subsequently worked in private practice in both Newcastle and Sydney. Dr Philip has over 35 years of dental experience and
especially enjoys oral surgery procedures, restorative work and denture construction.
Reflecting his family's values towards service, Dr Philip has volunteered in Syria and Lebanon by providing dental services in refugee camps and, most recently, in South Sudan.
When he isn't working in the clinic, Dr Philip enjoys travelling, cooking and spending time with his grandchildren.
Deborah Hanna
Practice Manager
Prior to being the practice manager of Peak Dental Care, Deborah held a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Sydney and worked as a hospital pharmacist. As Dr Victor’s wife, she
continues the family-owned spirit of the practice.
As practice manager, Deborah is responsible for managing appointments and the practice’s finances. She is there to greet patients as they arrive, and she especially enjoys catching up with them and hearing what’s been going on since their last visit.
What Deborah especially loves about Peak Dental Care is working for a small, local business serving our community. Because she also comes from a health background, she is comfortable talking to patients and health professionals.
When not helping patients, Deborah enjoys reading and checking out new local cafes. She is also an amateur florist and has helped with numerous weddings, baby showers and other events.
Lilian
Senior Dental Assistant
Lillian has spent her career in dentistry with Dr Hanna and Peak Dental Care. As a senior dental assistant, her responsibilities include assisting our dentists during procedures, sterilising dental instruments and maintaining the highest standard of infection control. She also helps prepare patients and aims to make them comfortable. Lilian holds a Certificate III in Dental Assisting.
With an innate interest in health care and helping people, Lillian particularly enjoys helping patients feel at ease, especially when they're anxious. She knows how visiting the dentist can feel daunting and a little scary. Her passion is encouraging patients to overcome that anxiety so they can feel calm and reassured instead. Lillian also loves our dental team, who all share her patient-centred approach.
When outside the clinic, Lillian enjoys spending time with her daughters and is an avid cook.
Dr Jerome Villalon
Dentist
After caring for his patients for over 35 years, Dr Jerome retired as of mid-2023. We thank him for how he tirelessly served his patients and community and would like to wish him a happy, relaxing and fulfilling retirement.
Dr Jerome Villalon is a veteran in dentistry with 38 years of experience, 31 of those years as the founder of Villalon Dental Haven (now known as Peak Dental Care). He has extensive training, starting at the University of the East, Manila, Philippines, in 1981. Ten years later, he earned credentials from the Australian Dental Examining Council (ADEC). Dr Villalon also participates in numerous continuing professional development seminars and has worked in New York and a dental lab in Sydney.
Influenced as a child towards dentistry by a family friend, Dr Villalon likes working with his hands and putting science into action. So as a general dentist, he performs a full range of treatments. He's incredibly fulfilled at Peak Dental Care. He also likes working with a team that puts patients first and provides relief in a caring manner.
When not at the clinic, Dr Villalon spends time appreciating God's creation, enjoying nature trips, and gardening. He also participates in overseas dental mission trips to serve people in real need and spread the Word at the same time.
